Several polls for the improvement of Tomsk public spaces are open for voting until May 31; the most- voted entries will receive government amenities in 2024 as part of the national project Accommodation and Urban Environment.

Among the many entries is the small lakeside area adjacent to the university campus—follow the link to vote for it.

The more votes a public space receives, the more likely it is to get financing for improvement works, and this is why everyone’s input—may it be a student or a staff member—is valuable.

As of now, the lakeside area lacks recreation facilities, hard-surfaced pavement on walk zones, and light fixtures, as well as proper lawn care. However, it is within our power to turn this area into a little corner of greenery for people and ducks alike.
