Recently, a delegation of the Golkar political party of the Republic of Indonesia, headed by the head of the Office for International Relations and Foreign Policy, Prof. Ali Mochtar Ngabalin visited Tomsk State University.

During the visit, Prof. Ali Mochtar Ngabalin was awarded the title of the TSU Visiting Professor for promoting fruitful and friendly relations between Russia and Indonesia.

The program of the visit was quite intense. The delegation met the leaders of Tomsk universities to discuss the potential collaboration prospects. There was also a meeting with Indonesian students studying in Tomsk. We shall remind that TSU has the largest number of Indonesian students in Russia.

Besides, Prof. Ali Mochtar Ngabalin held an open lecture in Indonesian “Diplomacy of Civilization: The Enduring Partnership of Indonesia and Russia”.

The delegation of the Golkar political party of the Republic of Indonesia also met with the representatives of the Legislative Duma of Tomsk Region and its Chairperson Oksana Kozlovskaya.
