Tomsk Region has concluded a concession agreement for campus construction

The agreement was signed by Andrei Milke, head of the Department of Special Projects of the Tomsk Region, and Pavel Scherbakov, Executive Vice President of Gazprombank and manager for the West Siberian Region, with the support of Vladimir Mazur, Governor of the Tomsk Region.

“The construction of the student campus solves the issue raised for the country and regions by Russian President Vladimir Putin, which is to achieve scientific, technological, and personnel sovereignty. For our region, the future campus has been one of the main projects for decades, which is confirmed by representatives of academic and university science and innovative business. The campus will attract more talented young people and business investments to the region to create new high-tech industries. It will provide an impetus for accelerated development of city, road, and transport infrastructure of Tomsk, especially its eastern part”, Governor Mazur highlighted.

The concession mechanism will enable implementing the construction of a technologically modern and convenient campus within the planned timeframe and with full control over the funds,” said Gazprombank’s Pavel Scherbakov.
