Tomsk State University plans to enroll 4,191 students on state-funded and 3,835 on fee-paid basis at all levels and forms of education in 2025. Compared to last year, the number of state-funded places has increased due to new bachelor’s degree programs, said Anna Korshunova, head of the TSU Admissions Department.
According to Anna Korshunova, in 2024, the university announced enrollment in bachelor’s, master’s, and postgraduate programs for 4,098 state-funded places and 3,195 fee-paid places.
– In 2025, we plan to enroll 4,191 state-funded students: 2,584 students for the first level of education (bachelor’s degree, specialist degree, and basic higher education), 1,373 for the second level (master’s degree), and 234 for postgraduate studies. We will be able to accept up to 3,835 people on a fee-paid basis, said Anna Korshunova.
Besides, the number of places at both levels of education at TSU has increased slightly compared to 2024 due to new fields of study: Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Production and Processing Technology, and Medical and Biological Physics.
The admission campaign at TSU will start on June 20. The documents for bachelor’s, specialist, and basic higher education will be accepted until July 25, and for master’s programs – until August 20. Fee-paid students will be able to submit documents until August 20.
Priority enrollment for state-funded places in bachelor’s, specialist, and basic higher education programs will take place on August 2-3, with main enrollment on August 6-7. The lists of students enrolled in master’s programs will be published on August 23, and fee-paid students will see the final enrollment lists on August 29.
It shall be reminded that applications for bachelor’s, specialist, and basic higher education programs, which require creative and professional entrance exams, must be submitted by July 20. The schedule for these entrance exams is published on the TSU website.
Moreover, foreign citizens applying for bachelor’s, specialist, and basic higher education programs may submit their documents until July 20.
