Tomsk State University will launch a new online master's degree in Marketing and Product Analytics in September 2024. It will suit both those who have already started a career as a marketer and want to develop in this field, and applicants with no experience. The program developers have taken into account all relevant skills that employers anticipate from graduates now and in the future. The program forms not only the classical marketer's skills, but also skills in using digital tools for data analysis.
The target audience of this program is quite broad. It is primarily aimed at marketers who already have some professional experience but want to gain deeper insight into product marketing and analytics, thus to become a more competitive. Moreover, this program suits those who have a background in a socioeconomic field and have no experience. Such applicants can also become excellent marketers, analysts, and product managers.
“We analyzed more than 60,000 vacancies to design this program, model a graduate's profile, and clearly define what skills graduate should have. That is why the program forms not only the classical marketer's skills, but also skills of using digital tools for data analysis. We can see that the profession is transforming and soon these skills will be very important for conducting high-quality marketing and product analytics,” said Yulia Mundrievskaya, head of educational programs at the Center for Applied Big Data Analysis at TSU.
Students will study the basics of product marketing and marketing techniques in their first year. In the second, they will choose a specialization — Product Analytics or Product Management. Graduates will receive TSU diplomas in management.
TSU online master's programs provide an education equal to full-time. They are a full cycle of education, including lectures, webinars, seminars, homework, tests, practical classes, and the defense of the master's thesis. The benefits of full-time students are available to students. Graduates of online master's programs receive TSU diplomas.
