Two TSU programs are accredited by experts from Russia and China

Two TSU programs – Mechanics of Fluid, Gas and Oil and Gas Transmission Systems (field of study: Mechanics and Mathematical Modeling, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics) and Big Data & Data Science (field of study:  Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Institute of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science) – have successfully passed an external accreditation and obtained two certificates of international accreditation.

The certificate is valid for 6 years, the maximum possible term.

The decision on the joint accreditation was made during the meeting between the National Center for Public Accreditation of the Russian Federation and the Higher Education Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

“Experts from both sides – representatives of the academia, industry, and the student community –  gave a high assessment to TSU programs and noted that TSU successfully preserves the fundamental achievements of the past and implements them into modern educational reality,” said the staff of TSU Center for Accreditation.

The competitive ability of these programs is supported by their relevant content, aim at practical results, highly qualified staff, and long-term ties with industry.

It’s the fourth joint Russian-Chinese accreditation for TSU. Since 2018, 16 programs have been recognized internationally and confirmed compliance with international standards. The accredited programs are listed in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) and recommended for enrollment by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
